The drain valve, a part of the sprinkler system, protects the underground system from frost damage. Opens and drains water automatically when the system is turned off and the water pressure in it drops below 0.2 bar. Install at the lowest point of the irrigation system and place in a pit of washed coarse gravel to absorb the water.
