Naturiga's Chlorella is grown and harvested on an island surrounded by forests, far from residential and industrial areas in the South China Sea. Filtered from the island's underground spring waters and grown in low-hardness waters, Chlorella reaches high chlorophyll rates by absorbing the sun rays of the tropical region. Harvested chlorella is meticulously sifted from the water through fine-mesh sieves – capturing the delicate chlorella cells – then hand washed and dried to retain maximum nutrients.
