USE AND MAINTENANCE Things to Consider • There is no harm in heating porcelain in the heating sections of ovens and microwave ovens. However, direct contact of porcelain products, other than fire-resistant porcelain, with naked fire creates a shock effect on the porcelain and breaks it. • If your porcelains are decorated with gold, platinum or gilding, they should not be used in microwave ovens. • Porcelain can be used safely in deep freezers, but if the porcelain taken out of the freezer or refrigerator is immediately placed in the oven, the porcelain will break due to the sudden temperature change. Cleaning and Maintenance • Cream and liquid detergents can be used. • After washing, it should be rinsed with plenty of water and dried. • It should not be cleaned by rubbing with harsh cleaning agents or wire.
