The Original 3x3x3 SPEED Cube, also known as the "Patience Cube", has a total area of 54 squares, 9 squares on each side, and a volume of 26 unit cubes (not counting the invisible cube in the middle). The squares on its surface are generally labeled with six different colors. When the puzzle is solved, each face of the cube consists of a single color.
