Martin Scorsese's musical documentary Shine A Light brings the Rolling Stones to the big screen in a way the world has never seen before. In his documentary about the concert of the world's most important rock 'n roll band, the Rolling Stones, at the Beacon Theater on October 29 and November 1, 2006, Scorsese worked with an award-winning camera crew to capture the pure energy of this legendary band. The shooting, which was carried out with a total of 18 35mm cameras, including the Genesis Hi Def camera, was carried out under the direction of Oscar-winning cinematographer Robert Richardson (The Aviator, JFK) and in partnership with world-famous award-winning cinematographers. Guest artists appearing in the film are Jack White from the White Stripes, Christina Aguilera and Buddy Guy. Among those who came to watch the concert are former US president Bill Clinton and his family. The film also includes behind-the-scenes footage and very special interviews with the artists.
