Globalization and the subsequent Global Crisis have made us realize that the current economic perspective is insufficient to explain what is happening in the world. Economic policies that fail to grasp the increasingly evident differences between developed and developing countries and therefore fail to offer situation-specific approaches have become unable to provide solutions to the problems experienced by developing countries in particular.
